President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved the appointment of a new Board and Management team of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC).
This was disclosed in a statement signed by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Chief Ajuri Ngelale.
Ajuri revealed that, the Board and Management team are to be Chaired by Mr. Chiedu Ebie from Delta State, Dr. Samuel Ogbuku from Bayelsa State to server as Managing Director / CEO while Mr. Boma Iyaye from Rivers State to serve as Executive Director Finance and Admin.
Mr. Victor Antai from Akwa-Ibom State to serve as Executive Director Projects,
Ifedayo Abegunde from Ondo State to serve as Executive Director Corporate Services. Sen. Dimaro Denyanbofa from Bayelsa State will serve as State Representative as Mr. Abasi Ndikan Nkono from Akwa Ibom State will also serve as State Representative .
Rt. Hon. Monday Igbuya from Delta State will serve as State Representative, Chief Tony Okocha from Rivers State, Hon .Patrick Aisowieren from Edo State , Mr Kyrian Uchegbu from Imo State,
Victor Kolade from Ondo State , Chief Dimgba Eriba from Abia State and Mr Asu Olu Okang from Cross River State will serve as State Representatives.
However, Hon. Nick Wende from North Central, Hon. Namdas Abdulrazak from North East and Sen. Dr. Ibrahim Abdullahi Gobir from North West will serve as Zonal Representatives
The statement noted that all of the appointments take immediate effect as the President expects that the new Board and Management team will ensure a new era of successful administration in the NDDC, in line with his Renewed Hope agenda.
