Operatives of The Federal Capital Territory Police Command, Apo Divisional Police Headquarters have arrested a 48 years old man who engaged a 10 years old in sexual act behind Prince & Princess Estate, Apo Abuja.
The case was reported on 22/2/23 by one Rose Solomon who suspected her neighbor, one Adekola Adeshina of sexually engaging her 10 years old daughter, Faith Solomon.
The suspect Adekola Adeshina admitted to the crime in his statement after being interrogated by operatives. It was disclosed that the 10 years old Faith Solomon is currently undergoing a medical examination.
However, the Commissioner of Police FCT Command, CP Sadiq Idris Abubakar has called on parents and guardians to exercise a greater level of attention to changes in behavioral patterns of their wards around individuals and ensure that measures are put in place to shield them against sexual crimes.
