FCT Commissioner of Police CP. Sadiq Idris Abubakar has promised to engage interested youths into the Community Policing programs and create more outposts to augment intelligence gathering, and maximize other benefits of Community policing and establish a generally improved visibility policing.
CP Sadiq made this known today 17th January, 2023 during a confidence building and assessment patrol to Gomba village and other communities in the Kuje Area Council of the FCT.
Addressing the team that comprise of Police, DSS and vigilantes and other locals, CP Sadiq noted that the patrol was targeted at warding off criminal elements, confidence building and improving the synergy between the Police, sister Security agencies and the Community for an onward fight against violent crimes.
After listening to complaints of the villagers and Traditional Leader of Gomba village, CP Sadiq assures villagers and residents of the Territory of an improved security architecture, tailored fit to the various topographical and social mapping of the Territory.
