Police operatives of the Command attached to the Anti -kidnapping unit and the Rubochi Division Police Headquarters have rescued 14 kidnapped victims from their abductors on the 24/01/2024 at about 0530 hrs this was done in continued fight against kidnapping in FCT,
The combined team, acting on credible intelligence stormed Kidnapper’s den located at Ukya village via Nasarawa state bordering FCT, on sighting the police operatives, the hoodlums engaged operatives by open fire on the police operatives which resulted in gun duel. One of the kidnappers neutralized by Operatives as the rest scampered to nearby forest with various degrees of bullet wounds. However the hostages who were rescued unhurt have since been reunited with their loved one.
