The Celebration of the Africa Day 2024 has turned out to be a successful one in Abuja as people from all works of life gathered with emphasize on the importance of cultural exchange and collaboration in promoting peace and development.
Speaking at the event on topic Africa Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow, Ambassador (Princess) Adesuwa Obaseki, said that, “Africa is rich in the continent with diverse Cultures and has undergone profound transformations from its ancient civilizations to the modern era, which promising prospects for the future. Noted that Africa’s journey reflects its resilience, potential, and the dynamic interplay of its challenges and opportunities which was reflecting Africa’s yesterday, today and tomorrow.
Present at the celebration was the President, Afro-Caribbean Chamber of Culture and Tourism (ACCCAT), Hon. Quadri-adu Kehinde the Convener, Fadele Abiodun Samson, Ambassadors of some countries in Nigeria which include, Brazil, Burundi, Trinidad and Tobago, China and UNESCO, Chairman of Yoruba Community Abuja, Otunba Hakeem Adetunji
The event also witness a special training on deployment of artificial intelligence and Robotic engineering which was delivered by Fadele Abiodun Samson. The two days event was well attended by diplomats, top government functionaries, Students of Secondary Schools, Corp members and notable stakeholders from Culture and Tourism industry. It featured a range of activities, including music, dance, and Art performances, showcasing the diversity and richness of African Culture, adding to the vibrancy of the celebration held at the Brazilian embassy, CBD, Abuja recently.
